The Postgate Inn, dating from 1860, is located at Egton Bridge in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. We are next to the small railway station which is part of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and within easy acess of Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and Pickering. York is only an hour away.
The Postgate Inn offers a restaurant, bar and 3 comfortable ensuite rooms; families and pets are welcome. There is a pleasant beer garden in which to relax and enjoy the sunshine and scenery and there is also a car park.
The Inn features regularly in the popular TV series "Heartbeat" under its stage name "The Black Dog".
